Atlantic Halibut (Hippoglossus hippoglossus)
The Atlantic Halibut (Hippoglossus hippoglossus) is the largest of the flatfish family. Atlantic Halibut is one of the most highly prized fish, due its tasty, firm, white meat. Our Halibut is mainly caught using gill nets and also to some extent by longlines. The season is from April to December, with main influx from October to December.
