Ling (Molva molva) 
Ling is a member of the cod family, and is caught all year round, both as primary and secondary catch. As opposed to some of the other species in the Cod Family, the Ling mostly occurs alone or in very few numbers. Ling, like other cod fish, is primarily a lean fish and above all a good source of protein. It also contains substantial amounts of calcium, magnesium and selenium.
