Redfish (Sebastes marinus)
Redfish is a deep-water fish that is pelagic and live in large schools. Our Redfish is mainly caught using gill nets, both as primary and secondary catch, and is avalilable all year round.
As well as being a good source of protein the Redfish contains a considerable amount of omega-3 fatty acids. Redfish is a very tasty food fish and fresh fillets can be boiled or fried and be used in a variety of dishes.
